“When She Bleeds, I Bleed” poem by Jade Walker

You bleed
I bleed
Whenever she’s in pain
I feel it shake my frame

Our guts combined since the blood kiss
I want to hold her through it
Cast my spell and take away her nausea and pain with my magic
She can’t eat, is throwing up, living on tea, that’s how deeply the pain has fucked her up

Whenever she bleeds
I bleed too
Our hearts and minds entwined
Sanguine spiritual attune
Until the end of time
Synchronized
